- Zhejiang Hangzhou Logistics Warehouse Metal Roofing Project
Project type: Waterproofing and thermal insulation of metal roofs
Location: Hangzhou, Zhejiang
Project Overview:
The first phase warehouse of Vanke Logistics Hangzhou Xiaoshan Dangshan Logistics Park is located in Dangshan Town, Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City. The warehouse is divided into two storage areas, No. 1 and No. 2. According to customer needs, the roof of approximately 22,000 square meters of warehouse No. 2 has been renovated for heat insulation and waterproofing.
Construction began on July 12, 2023, and was completed on August 10, 2023.
We collected and analyzed on-site temperature data. The renovated roof exterior temperature decreased by an average of 30°C, the indoor ceiling temperature decreased by an average of 15°C, and the overall indoor temperature decreased by an average of 4°C, with a maximum reduction of 6°C. This significantly reduced the indoor temperature in the warehouse, improving the working environment for employees. It received unanimous approval from the project owner and clients.?

The graph above records the temperature comparison of the two test points in the two reservoir areas throughout the day from August 2nd to August 22nd. The thermometer recorded the temperature every 30 minutes.
1.The temperature reached its peak on August 13th, with the highest temperature at point D being 35.3℃ and the highest temperature at point F being 41.7℃, with a maximum temperature difference of 6.4℃ between the two.
2.From August 5th to August 21st, the average temperature difference between 10 AM and 6 PM reached 3.88℃.
3.On August 13th, Hangzhou's temperature peaked at 37℃, with mostly cloudy skies. In the past 20 days, there were only two or three instances of high temperatures, and the maximum temperature difference between the two areas reached 6℃.
4.The indoor temperature of Warehouse No. 2, which was covered with thermal insulation rolls (35.3℃), was already lower than the outdoor ambient temperature (37℃) during the high temperature period.
